Tammy was born and raised in Lawrenceville, GA and has over 20 years experience with Fortune 500 companies in Atlanta, GA. During this time, she was committed to recruiting the best talent for the projects that she managed and took special care in identifying the unique needs of her clients and providing top-notch customer service.

Tammy is active in her local community and tutored elementary school students in reading and math from 2005-2008.  This re-ignited her passion for education and in working closely with children. Tammy has transferred her skills from Corporate America to Tutor Doctor, recruiting top notch tutors and making the “magical match” between the tutor and student based on learning style and personality.

Tammy shares the Tutor Doctor philosophy that all students can excel in school given the right level of one-on-one support. She is passionate about partnering with parents and local schools to ensure that students have every advantage in pursuing their education.

Tammy holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the University of Georgia.
