Atlanta Tutors - We Come To You!
We Match the Learning Style of the Student to the Teaching Style of the Atlanta Tutor

How often do kids attend tutoring sessions?

Our programs are customized to the needs of the student.  If a student is working at or close to grade level, one session per week will likely be recommended as the starting point.   If a student is behind with a C average or lower, a minimum of two hours per week will be needed initially to rebuild the missing educational foundations, while also keeping up with current coursework.  Our experience shows that one hour per week is simply not enough to rebuild the skills

How can I ensure a successful outcome from the tutoring program?

With a motivated student and a knowledgeable and patient tutor, much success can be gained from only 1-2 hours per week tutoring.  The most successful tutoring programs involve a partnership and commitment between the tutor, parent, student, and school teacher.    If parent and teacher agree, Tutor Doctor prefers to collaborate with the teacher to ensure the best possible progress of the student.
