Job Description
We are looking for highly motivated tutors who are passionate about helping students progress and who can help build their confidence and motivate them to love learning.
We are currently looking for tutors to travel to student’s homes for one-on-one tutoring. Tutoring involves clarifying and teaching subject matter, as well as assessing the student’s knowledge and skills on an ongoing basis.
We are interested in tutors with expertise in all subject areas Elementary through College:
- Elementary Reading, Writing and Arithmetic
- High school Language Arts and English, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Foreign Languages, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, etc.
- Special Needs
Please send a resume detailing your experience working with students in tutoring (including volunteer tutoring). Also, please provide the area of town in which you would like to tutor as well as subjects and age groups you are interested in tutoring.

Experience Requirements
Tutor Doctor selects tutors based on subject area expertise as well as personality and qualifications. This does not mean that we only hire teachers to be tutors, but we do require experience and extensive knowledge of the subject area to be taught.
